I have a Delta hit lever faucet that feeds a shower continue only. Recently it has started a slow come down. I have taken the faucet apart up to what appears to be a white cartridge. I am not sure how to take it off to get at the springs and washers behind it. I have pryed at it a bit but don't want to end something. Any back up is appreciated
The cartridge should go out with a little persuasion. Do you have a model # or a picture of it?
No. I'm sorry I don't undergo the copy #. I do undergo a picture but I am not sure how to post it. Do I just displace on the cartridge to get it to come off?
You can go here and act a remove account to affix your pictures:http://photobucket com/Normally if its guts you can pull them out. I remember one faucet I had that the guts were supposed to come out but I couldn't for the life of me get them out. Just wondering if its the same Delta faucet.
If it's an old Delta observe (NOT observe II) the cartridge should pull right out. On the escutcheon (the coat piece in approve that goes up against the cover) it ordain say "Delta" on top and "Monitor" on the botom. The other big give away is if the black add on the front of the handle has a red and color go to tell hot and cold. There is a conversion kit to fit a new cartridge as the OEM cartridges are no longer made. A little pricey but now I can use the new cartridges so it won't be as expensive next time. Try the Delta website. I had good luck with their on-line converse help. Tom
I created the account in Photo Bucket and have added the picture. Now how do I post the conceive of?
